The machine manufacturer, BOMAG, will be presenting the BPR reversible plates with optimised design for the first time on the BOMAG demonstration grounds at bauma 2013 (area F 1008/1) in Munich. The new BOMAG BPR features a dark-coloured all-round protection hood which not only looks good, but is also better equipped for the toughest site conditions.
The black steel “face” of the BOMAG BPR is highly resistant to scratches, damage or impacts. Furthermore, the all-round protection hood provides excellent protection against vandalism. Despite the large cover, all maintenance points are easily accessible for regular inspections at any time through the tried and tested service flaps; tools are not required. Having just four bolts, the engine area can be accessed quickly and easily for servicing. BOMAG is now offering the operating hours counter for the new reversible plates as standard; this is a particularly useful aid to maintenance and servicing which will also allow for a reduction in service and repair costs.
Furthermore, BOMAG is extending its overall BPR portfolio by the BPR 50/55 D and BPR 60/65 D models. Equipped with powerful Hatz engines and enhanced compaction performance these bridge the gap between the popular BPR 45/55 D and BPR 55/65 D models with Lombardini engines. In extending the entire portfolio, BOMAG has once again responded to
its customers’ requirements, offering both added value and individuality.
At bauma, BOMAG will be presenting its new BPRs as well as the entire light equipment range. Sporting the slogan “City Action”, visitors to the demonstration grounds will be able to put the robustness, ergonomics and handling features of all the hand-guided compaction equipment to the test and be won over by the high quality and exceptional efficiency of the machines.
