At bauma 2013 in Munich, BOMAG, the global market leader in compaction technology will be presenting its new tamper generation for the first time. BOMAG will be displaying three new tamper developments at bauma which offer individual choice for any customer requirement. From occasional to full time use: the new BOMAG tamper range comprising models BVT 65, BT 65 and BT 60 represents top quality and efficiency with no compromise. Sporting the slogan “City Action”, visitors to the BOMAG demonstration grounds, stand F 1008/1, will be able to put the robustness, ergonomics and handling features of the entire tamper portfolio to the test along with other BOMAG light equipment.
When, how often and how long a tamper is used is completely different in each case. Whether it is used for landscaping, the construction of trenches or smaller repair jobs – the range of tasks carried out by a tamper is extremely diverse. For this reason, BOMAG has created a new and now wider range of models that will allow users to decide which machine suits their requirements best. A total of four units are now available: the BVT 65 for occasional use and typical applications and requirements; the BT 65 for frequent use with the highest demands on compaction; and the BT 60 for constant use in confined spaces and time-intensive work intervals. The popular BT 80 D diesel tamper still completes the line up.
