The DEUTZ corporate historian Helmut Müller has been honoured for his extensive volun-tary commitment with The Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany on a ribbon.
Following 46 years of employment at DEUTZ AG, at the start of his retirement in 2009, Helmut Müller assumed the honorary positions as the head of “Corporate History” of DEUTZ AG and that of Chairman of Trustees for the ‘Friends of DEUTZ’s Engine Collection’ association at DEUTZ AG. Likewise, since 2009 the graduate mechanical engineer has been the chairman of the association ‘Friends of DEUTZ’s Engine Collection’. This support association, which was founded by DEUTZ AG in cooperation with the Museum of the City of Cologne for the preservation and maintenance of its historical collection of engines, is committed to safeguard and maintain DEUTZ’s unique collection, which is protected through its inclusion on the national list of valuable cultural assets of the Federal Republic of Germany.
