Iveco is participating at the 48th edition of Salon des Véhicules de Loisir (VDL), an annual trade show dedicated to recreational vehicles, which is currently taking place at the Parc des Expositions in Paris-Le Bourget and will conclude on October 6. VDL serves as an important platform for Iveco to demonstrate its continued work in the recreational vehicle segment. The nine-day event features over 300 exhibitors and more than 100,000 visitors.
Iveco joins Fiat Professional (the light commercial vehicle brand of Fiat) on a 400 square meter stand at VDL in Hall 2, stand 2A. The company is exhibiting the Daily 70C17L; a leader in the high-end recreational vehicle segment thanks to its reputation as the only lightweight vehicle on the market to offer a gross vehicle weight of up to 7 tons. The model on display features a stripped chassis cowl and structural modifications with a wheelbase extended to 5,100 mm. It is equipped with a 170 hp, 3-liter light duty engine and an Agile gearbox.
Iveco offers a wide selection of transformable bases for recreational vehicles. Its product portfolio is tailored to keep up-to-date with the sector’s ever-evolving trends by incorporating elements that respond to the needs of outdoor travel.
A department dedicated entirely to this specific application ensures that Iveco is able to offer increasingly more suitable and high-performing products that can be structurally equipped to meet various user requirements.
Iveco is also a point of reference in the high end motorhome segment thanks to its flexible chassis bases which grant a vast array of custom features and modifications for vehicles with a medium-high total mass of over 3.5 tons. The base of the light duty Daily caters to the 5 – 7 ton segment, while the medium duty Eurocargo base is available for up to 12.
