Following the 20 March announcement of its postponement, WNE is pleased to confirm that the exhibition – the major event in the global civil nuclear industry – will go ahead in 2020 under optimum conditions for its exhibitors and participants.
The exhibition’s new dates are 8 to 10 December 2020, and it will take place at the same venue, Hall 7 of Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, President of WNE, and Michel Filzi, CEO of Reed Exposition France, said: « We are grateful for the many messages of support we have received from our customers and partners. These new dates, and staying at the original location, are excellent news especially for our international exhibitors and participants. They will be able to present their solutions, benefiting from the experiences over three days in this purpose-designed, modern and secure environment. »
WNE organisers are aware of the impact of these changes on personal and organisational schedules, and studied the international calendar of events dedicated to nuclear energy to make sure the new dates were optimal for the world community.
In addition, WNE plans to take the opportunity of these new arrangements to innovate and stay in touch with the nuclear community by organising alternative digital events on the original dates in June. A programme will be announced in the coming weeks.
